Meet a penpal, and the penpal's penpal. .. and take them both to their first gauze show! There's a lot of people at the show that I met last week. Since I have a bad memory, I made sure to write down their names last week . . .. But since I have a bad memory, I forgot to bring the piece of paper with the names on it. . . dag. Anyway, DSB played and then VIVISICK, and then FRAMTID.

the hardcore kids...

Baba, the DSB bassist.

DSB's guitar . . . . and those aren't glasses!

Demon-eyed K@zu and his little swastika.

Framtid had the best sound of the night, way heavier sounding than the other bands even though they were all using the same equipment.

Plus the drummer was one of those total Kieth-Moon-style overhand drummers, and his hair was big enough to rub against the stage lights!

Then GAUZE played and it was nuts, even compared to the other GAUZE shows I've seen. Like, there was so many fools crowdsurfing that there were TRAFFIC JAMS on top of the pit, there was TOTAL GRIDLOCK.

It was so chaotic on the ground that I figured 'hey it's gotta be safer up in the air' so for the first time in my life, I crowdsurfed. All these guys half my age holding me up. . . . it looks violent, but at the same time there's a lot of altruism involved-most guys need help climbing up onto peoples' heads, and then depend on the crowd holding them aloft. So, weird dichotomy there. Really there's not much to say about the show , so I'll just post some pictures instead.
