Tokyo Damage Report

朽ち果てる歩道橋

歩道橋 (ほどうきょう=pedestrian overpasses) + 朽ち果てる (くちはてる= rot away).

This was my obsession for a couple of months!

Using photos I am trying to create an endless , bottomless staircase into rottenness. Enjoy!

Stairway to Heaven from bottoms up.
Even the bridges from Malaysia doesn't look that freaky.
I wonder if they collapse prone.

Is it cool if I try to "animate" these pics.

This could be in PSA or presentation about pollution, saying something like "You don't believe that we are polluting the Earth? The answer me this. What the fuck is going on with these stairs."

#10 (I think, the one that doesn't show any handrails) could be the side of a mayan temple for all I know.

@fzgig: thanks! I wanted to do them all without handrails but did not have the camera skills. What?
