Tokyo Damage Report

The HELL I just recorded a whole album in 3 weeks.

That's more music than I've made in the last 3 years combined!

Anyway it's up at bandcamp.
Please let me know what you think!

I liked Walmart immediately, but I wasn't sure about the others at first but they are growing on me with each re-listen. I'm not terribly keen on Bruteral Funeral or Bash Your Bogosity. Both Nostrils, Gaugin, and The Dude Has Hobbies grew on me the fastest. I'm still thinking about Don't Eff With My Karaoke and 60 Minutes, not sure about whether I dislike them or I'm just not feeling them.

Yep, Walmart is definitely the best, but it's really soooo 2005! I also like the lyrics of Bruteral Funeral but the performance could be way better… The others a so-so, funny lyrics but lacking at some point.

    But Kanjidamage is down.

As is your glorious P.O.P.E. rap. Can you make that available on the site again?

What’s the French prog sample? Bash Your Bogosity sounds like Magma, but I can’t figure out which song.

@john: actually bash your bogosity is BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN by Aerosmith. The French prog sample is MICHEL RIPOCHE, from the Equinoxe album.

I didn’t know Aerosmith was capable of sounding so dark! Checking out Equinoxe now, good stuff.
